The schools we’re working with in Wakefield are looking for a qualified Science Teacher who brings clarity, energy, and calm into the classroom.These roles suit a QTS-qualified Science Teacher who enjoys making lessons engaging and accessible, whether that’s explaining tricky concepts, running practicals that actually run smoothly, or helping pupils find their confidence in the subject.What you’ll be doing:
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities in some settings
Planning and delivering clear, engaging lessons that pupils can connect with
Creating a positive classroom culture where curiosity is encouraged
Working closely with department colleagues to keep learning consistent and purposeful
What schools are looking for:
UK QTS with a specialism in Science
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
A positive, organised approach and good behaviour management
Someone who cares about progress, not just results
