Teach South Kent is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Bexhill, East Sussex, this September. This is a full-time opportunity supporting children and young people with a wide range of additional learning needs.km,,,,,,,,,,./;;;;

Your Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide consistent support throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting students during lessons, both individually and in small groups.
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
  • Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence.
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
  • Helping to promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is patient, caring, and committed to helping young people succeed.
  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Is reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
  • Has previous experience working with young people or in education (desirable but not essential).
  • Holds a degree or relevant qualification (beneficial but not required).

This role would suit experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Care Workers, Youth Workers, Nursery Practitioners or graduates considering a future career in education, psychology or therapy.
