Fancy a role where no two days are ever quite the same?

One day you could be leading an energetic Year 8 English lesson, the next supporting a focused GCSE maths class. If you enjoy variety, thrive in different environments, and like knowing every day brings something new, daily supply could be right up your street.

We're looking for confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Telford. Whether you're building classroom experience before teacher training, looking for flexible work that fits around your life, or you're already an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for regular bookings, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Keeping students engaged, on task and making the most of their learning
  • Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
  • Creating a positive learning environment while the class teacher is away
  • Becoming a familiar face in local secondary schools

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have experience working with young people, whether that's in a school or another setting where you've supported or led groups.

You'll also be:

  • Confident leading a classroom
  • Calm, approachable and professional
  • A great communicator who can adapt quickly
  • Happy to roll your sleeves up and embrace the variety that comes with supply work

Why choose daily supply?

Supply work is a brilliant way to build classroom confidence, experience different schools, and keep control of your diary. You choose when you work, gain valuable experience, and every placement helps you grow your skills. If you're thinking about a career in teaching, it's one of the best ways to see what school life is really like.
