Creative Arts Graduates Wanted

Drama. Music. Performing Arts. Creative Writing. Dance. Fine Art.

If you've studied a creative subject and you're wondering what comes next, this could be right up your street.

We're looking for enthusiastic, compassionate graduates to support children and young people across Swindon. Whether you're considering a future in teaching, therapy, youth work, educational psychology, or simply want to do something meaningful while building valuable experience, we'd love to hear from you.

You might not realise it, but graduates from creative backgrounds often thrive in education roles, because supporting children isn't just about academics. It's about communication, confidence, creativity, emotional expression, and building trust. The skills you've developed through drama, music, performing arts, and other creative disciplines can make a huge difference to pupils who need a different approach to learning.

Whether it's helping a child express themselves through creativity, using performance skills to engage reluctant learners, or bringing calm and confidence into challenging situations, your experience could have a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and other additional needs throughout the school day
  • Building positive relationships with children who may need extra encouragement or emotional support
  • Delivering creative interventions, sensory activities, and small group sessions
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, communication, and social skills
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Drama, Music, Performing Arts, Dance, Fine Art, Creative Arts, or a related subject OR a specialism in one of these areas
  • A positive, adaptable approach and a willingness to get stuck in
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young people
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is helpful, but not essential
  • A genuine desire to support young people and help them succeed

What You'll Get From Us

  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella company nonsense
  • A dedicated consultant who actually picks up the phone
  • FREE access to in-person CPD and Thrive training, a fantastic qualification for anyone interested in SEND and behaviour support
  • Your own online availability lounge to keep things flexible
  • Opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience and explore long-term careers in education, therapy, and specialist support
