Teacher – Primary (KS1 & KS2)

Location: Sutton
Pay: As per scale
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teachers (KS1 & KS2) to join well-established schools in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Support pupils in developing confidence and achieving academic progress.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and supporting children's development.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Experience working within UK primary schools.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND and varying learning needs.
  • Experience delivering interventions and booster sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
