We’re recruiting for a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant role in Sunderland, supporting pupils with complex needs in a nurturing, structured environment.

The role
You’ll work closely with pupils who need a steady, supportive adult to help them access learning and feel safe in school.
Your day might include
Supporting sensory activities and personalised learning
Helping pupils regulate emotions during transitions
Working 1:1 or in small groups
Building strong, trusting relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
