We are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a specialist provision supporting pupils who have experienced barriers to education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing classroom support
• Supporting behaviour plans
• Building trust with pupils
• Assisting with de-escalation strategies
• Supporting attendance and engagement

Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
• Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm

Requirements:

• Youth work, coaching, care or education experience desirable
• Calm and professional manner
• Full-time applicants only
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
