We're working with a welcoming specialist secondary school in Street that supports pupils aged 11 to 16 with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH and communication differences. Small class sizes, fantastic support staff and a genuinely caring team mean you'll have the time and space to teach in a way that makes a real difference.

What you'll be doing

• Teaching a KS3 class with a personalised and engaging curriculum
• Planning creative lessons that meet individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes
• Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families
• Supporting pupils to build confidence, resilience and independence
• Creating a calm, structured classroom where every child feels safe to learn
• Celebrating progress, whether it's mastering a new skill or simply having a brilliant day

We'd love to hear from you if you...

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, whether in a specialist or mainstream setting
• Build positive relationships with young people through patience, consistency and humour
• Believe every child deserves the chance to succeed, whatever their starting point
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team
