Secondary School – Stratford, East London Start Date: End of February 2026 Contract: Short Term / Long Term / Perm Are you a passionate English Teacher ready for a fresh challenge this February? We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic Teacher of English to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Stratford at the end of February.This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact in a well-supported department with engaged students and strong leadership.The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing, and language
Support students of all abilities to make strong progress
Work collaboratively within a supportive English department
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Holds QTS (or equivalent)
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English
Can start end of February
Has a DBS on the update service or is ready to complete one immediately
Can provide references quickly
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to hit the ground running
