We’re working with a school in South Shields looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them feel understood, settled, and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping manage behaviour in a calm, consistent way
• Building trust with pupils who need stability
• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement

What we’re looking for:
• Experience with SEMH or behaviour support
• A patient, resilient approach
• Someone who doesn’t take things personally
• Strong communication and a steady presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
