Calling all Maths teachers, whether you’re an experienced classroom pro or an ECT ready to tackle your first timetable without pretending fractions are “fun” before your morning coffee kicks in ☕
We’re working with secondary schools across Shropshire looking for enthusiastic Maths Teachers to join their teams immediately and for long-term positions starting in September.
These schools are looking for teachers who can bring confidence, energy, and clarity to the classroom, helping students realise that maths isn’t just numbers on a page, it’s problem-solving, confidence-building, and occasionally explaining for the fifteenth time why calculators aren’t allowed in mental maths tests.
Whether you’re looking for full-time stability or flexible part-time work, we’ve got opportunities to suit you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons
- Supporting students of mixed abilities to achieve their potential
- Creating a positive classroom environment where students feel confident to learn
- Marking, assessment, and contributing to departmental planning
- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Hold UK QTS or are completing your teacher training
- Are an experienced Maths Teacher or an ECT ready to get started
- Can deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and understanding
