We’re working with a supportive primary school in Lawrence Weston looking for a Flexible Learning Partner to provide dedicated 1:1 support within a Year 2 classroom.
This school supports a high number of pupils with complex SEND needs and is looking for someone who can bring patience, empathy, and consistency into the classroom every day. You’ll play a key role in helping a pupil feel safe, engaged, and able to access learning in a way that works for them.
The school has a warm and welcoming team, and they’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference, not just fill a role.

- Supporting a pupil with complex SEND needs throughout the school day
- Helping with emotional regulation, communication, routines, and learning activities
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team
- Creating a calm, positive, and encouraging environment for the pupil to thrive
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous SEND experience within a school or similar setting
- Feels confident supporting children with complex additional needs
- Is calm, patient, and proactive in their approach
- Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Is reliable and ready to start ASAP
Due to the location of the school, driving is preferred. However, the school is accessible via train and bus routes.
Essential requirements:
- Enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- References covering the last 24 months
- Right to work in the UK
- Overseas police checks required for any overseas stays longer than 3 months within the past 5 years
- Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role
