Salary: MPS1–UPS3 (dependent on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic Dance Teacher who can inspire students through movement, creativity and performance?
A welcoming secondary school in Rye is looking to appoint a talented and motivated Dance Teacher to join its Performing Arts department from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to nurture students' confidence, creativity and passion for dance in a supportive and well-resourced school.

The Role
  • Teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver engaging practical lessons that encourage creativity, teamwork and self-expression.
  • Plan and assess lessons that support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to school performances, showcases and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a vibrant Performing Arts curriculum.
About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Dance in a secondary school setting.
  • A passion for inspiring young people through the performing arts.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed.
