Assistant Buyer - Residential Housebuilding (Rugby Area)

An established and highly regarded housebuilder is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join their team in the Rugby area.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within residential housebuilding, supporting the commercial team in delivering high-quality homes.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + package

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the procurement of materials and subcontract packages

• Supporting supplier enquiries, pricing, and order placement

• Maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring timely deliveries

• Updating procurement schedules and tracking orders

• Working closely with Buyers, Commercial, and Site teams

   

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a buying or commercial support role (ideally within construction or housebuilding)

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Good communication and negotiation abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

• Eagerness to learn and progress within the industry
