Secondary School – Redbridge Start Date: April/September 2026 (or earlier by negotiation) Contract: Permanent, Full Time Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London), dependent on experienceWe are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive Science department at a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge.This role is suitable for an ECT or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and inspiring curiosity in young people.The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)
Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons
Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
Contribute positively to the Science department and wider school community
Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
The Ideal Candidate Will
Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it)
Have strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
Be passionate about Science and committed to high expectations
Be reflective, organised, and keen to develop professionally
Work collaboratively as part of a team
