We are partnered with a leading engineering consultancy specialising in the design and construction of mission critical facilities for hyperscale, colocation and enterprise clients across Europe.

As their project portfolio continues to expand, they are seeking a Project Director to provide leadership across multiple high value data centre developments, ensuring successful delivery whilst supporting strategic growth within the business.

This is a senior client facing role combining project leadership, business development, technical oversight and team management.

About the Role - Project Director

As Project Director, you will oversee a portfolio of data centre projects and act as a trusted advisor to some of the industries leading clients.

Working closely with Project Managers and technical teams, you will provide strategic direction, resolve challenges and ensure projects consistently achieve commercial, operational and client objectives.

You will also play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying future opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities - Project Director

Lead and oversee multiple hyperscale and mission critical projects
Provide strategic direction and support to Project Managers and delivery teams
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Support business development activities, proposals and project pursuits
Review project performance across programme, budget, risk and quality metrics
Lead commercial and contractual discussions
Support procurement strategies and major contractor appointments
Provide technical oversight across design, construction and commissioning activities
Ensure consistent project governance, reporting and delivery excellence
Mentor and develop Project Managers
Drive profitability, client satisfaction and operational performance across the portfolio

Key Requirements - Project Director

Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
Extensive experience delivering data centre, mission critical or infrastructure projects
Technical understanding of critical electrical and mechanical systems
Proven experience managing major client accounts and multidisciplinary delivery team
Commercial acumen with experience managing high value contracts and project portfolios
Demonstrated leadership experience within project delivery environments
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Fluent English and French Required
