The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with observations, assessments, and classroom preparation.
- Support children's personal care where required, in line with school policies.
- Has experience working with children in an EYFS setting.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Has a nurturing, patient, and positive approach.
- Works well as part of a team and uses their own initiative.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- £14.24 per hour.
- Full-time, term-time only position.
