Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference? Protocol Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional to join supportive schools in the Middlesbrough area for an immediate start.

 

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs

  • Support pupils with a variety of SEN, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback

  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
