About the Role

As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in a Middlesbrough secondary school, you will:

• Support pupils in lessons so they can access learning confidently

• Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis

• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEMH and SEND

• Reinforce teacher instructions and classroom routines

• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Some relevant experience is necessary, but it doesn’t need to be perfect or extensive.

You’ll ideally have:

✔️ Experience as a Teaching Assistant in primary, secondary, or SEND settings
or
✔️ Strong childcare, youth work, or mentoring experience with secondary-aged young people
