

Learning Support Assistant (Mornings Only)
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding morning role?
We're recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the Mangotsfield area for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with an autism profile.
This is a long-term opportunity where you'll play an important role in helping one child access learning, develop independence and build confidence in the classroom. You'll also support small group interventions as part of the school's SEN provision and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Understands social communication and emotional regulation strategies
- Has experience supporting children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Can build positive relationships with children and staff
- Is patient, reliable and able to promote confidence and independence
- Can help children maintain focus and engage in learning
What you'll receive:
- Pay from £14.25 per hour, with higher rates for experienced candidates

Requirements:
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service
- Two years of satisfactory references
- Right to work in the UK
This is a temporary position linked to an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), subject to ongoing funding and the pupil remaining at the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
