We are working with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure schemes across the United Utilities network in the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, multi-disciplinary team delivering a strong pipeline of work on a long-term AMP8 framework, with a focus on environmentally critical Better Rivers projects.

The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering and water infrastructure schemes. You will be responsible for supporting site operations while ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance across projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-    Setting out and surveying works on site
-    Supporting day-to-day site engineering activities
-    Ensuring works are delivered in line with specifications and drawings
-    Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
-    Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
-    Promoting health, safety, and environmental best practices

About the Projects
You will be involved in delivering a range of water and wastewater infrastructure schemes, contributing to improvements in water quality, environmental performance, and network resilience across the region.
 

Requirements
-    Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
-    Strong setting out and surveying capability
-    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-    Experience within water, utilities, or frameworks (desirable, not essential)
-    A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
-    Full UK driving licence
