EYFS Teaching Assistant – Waltham ForestFull-Time Teaching Assistant - To Start as soon as possibleLocation – Waltham ForestPosition - Full-time (Monday-Friday)Looking to make a real difference at the very start of a child’s learning journey?We’re working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools and nurseries in Waltham Forest who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support their youngest learners. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, engaging environment where children can explore, play, and build the foundations for lifelong learning.If you’re nurturing, energetic, and enjoy getting stuck into creative, hands-on activities, this could be a brilliant opportunity to step into a truly rewarding role.What you’ll be doing:
Supporting children in Nursery or Reception with daily classroom routines and activitiesAssisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learningHelping children develop early skills in communication, phonics, numbers, and social interactionWorking with small groups or individual children to support their learning and confidenceEncouraging positive behaviour and supporting children with emotional developmentHelping create a warm, stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn
What we’re looking for:The right fit for this role is someone who is:
Passionate about working with young children in an Early Years settingPatient, caring, and naturally nurturingProactive and happy to get involved in creative and practical classroom activitiesA confident communicator who can build positive relationships with children and staffAdaptable and able to support a busy, energetic Early Years classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
