The Role
You will support children’s learning and development by:
-
Assisting teachers and nursery staff with daily activities and routines.
-
Supporting children through play-based and engaging learning.
-
Providing 1:1 and small group support.
-
Supporting children with SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
-
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
-
Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
-
Supporting personal care where required.
Requirements
-
Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.

Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
-
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
-
Understanding of safeguarding and child development.
-
Right to work in the UK.
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
