QTS Secondary Teachers Needed – Tower Hamlets

Tower Hamlets, East London
£165–£260 per day, depending on experience
Full-time and long-term opportunities available
Immediate starts and September roles available

Secondary Teachers, this one’s for you

Looking for a school where your subject knowledge is valued, behaviour policies actually work, and the coffee queue in the staffroom moves quickly enough to save your sanity before period 1?

We’re working with a range of welcoming and well-supported secondary schools across Tower Hamlets who are looking for passionate QTS Teachers to join their teams.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher ready for a fresh challenge or an ECT keen to find the right school to kickstart your career, we’ve got opportunities that fit around you.

We’re recruiting for:

  • English Teachers
  • Maths Teachers
  • Science Teachers
  • Humanities Teachers
  • MFL Teachers
  • PE Teachers
  • Computer Science Teachers
  • Creative Arts Teachers
  • General Cover and Supply Teachers

From long-term placements to flexible supply work, we’ll help you find the role that makes Mondays feel a bit less… Monday-ish.

What the schools offer:

✅ Supportive SLT who actually support
✅ Well-behaved pupils and strong routines
✅ Opportunities for progression and development
✅ Diverse, vibrant school communities
✅ Long-term and permanent opportunities
✅ Easy transport links across East London

What we’re looking for:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
  • Passion for your subject and helping pupils thrive
  • A positive, flexible attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply

ECTs are very welcome to apply too. Your first teaching role shouldn’t feel like being thrown in at the deep end with nothing but a whiteboard pen and blind optimism.
