The Role

As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
• Have experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school – Essential.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
• Be committed to delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
