Year 1 Teacher Job | KS1 Primary Teacher | Key Stage 1 Teaching Role

Pay Scale: £130 - £200 (depending on experience and qualifacations)

We are currently recruiting for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school. This KS1 Primary Teacher job is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about early learning and supporting children transitioning from EYFS into Key Stage 1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Support phonics, early reading, and numeracy development
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Strong knowledge of phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
