We're working with welcoming schools in BS4 on the lookout for a Male Teaching Assistant to start this September.
If you have SEN experience then we would love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
- Adapt teaching for pupils with ASD, SEMH and other complex needs
- Build positive relationships where trust comes first
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SENCOs
- Create calm, structured classrooms where pupils can thrive
- Support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- A calm, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
