£70,000 - £80,000 + package
I'm currently working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Senior Planner to join their growing Planning team.
This is a key role supporting the wider business across a diverse portfolio of projects, offering the opportunity to be involved from tender stage through to delivery.

The Role
Developing detailed project programmes from first principles using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Supporting tender submissions with accurate, logical and contract-compliant programmes
Tracking, updating and reporting on live project programmes, including EoT and NEC Clause 62 assessments
Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to monitor progress and manage risks and opportunities
Challenging and advising internal teams to ensure clear programme ownership
Ensuring programmes reflect safe working practices, realistic mobilisation and effective resource planning
Contributing to continuous improvement and overall delivery strategy
About You
3+ years' experience in a planning role and 10+ years within civil engineering/construction
Relevant qualifications (HND or similar) - highways, structures or water experience is advantageous
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to build robust programmes
Good understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and temporary works
Proactive, analytical and collaborative mindset
Confident communicator with both clients and internal teams
Full UK driving licence
