We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield looking for a Geography Teacher who can bring coastlines, climate change, population growth, and everything in between to life.
Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge or an ECT ready to begin your teaching journey, this could be the role that makes Mondays feel a little less... Monday-ish.
You'll be joining a supportive Humanities department where collaboration is encouraged, ideas are shared, and students are genuinely curious about the world around them. The school has a strong focus on pastoral care, clear behaviour expectations, and professional development opportunities for staff.
What you'll be doing
Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
️ Delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity about the world
Exploring topics including sustainability, environmental issues, and global development
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire
Working closely with a supportive Humanities team to share ideas and best practice

✔ Hold QTS or are working towards it
✔ Have a Geography or Humanities specialism
✔ Are passionate about helping young people understand the world around them
✔ Can build positive relationships and create an engaging classroom environment
