We are recruiting Learning Partners to support pupils within a specialist resource base at a welcoming primary school in the Horfield area. Flexible and part-time options are available, making this an excellent opportunity for parents returning to work, students, career changers, or anyone seeking a meaningful role in education.

The resource base supports children with communication and interaction needs, including autism, within an inclusive environment that values respect, independence, and positive relationships.

The role includes:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND in both the resource base and mainstream classrooms
  • Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions
  • Encouraging communication, confidence, and social development
  • Helping to create a calm, nurturing, and structured learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and specialist staff

We're looking for people who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people, whether in education, childcare, youth work, or care settings
  • Are patient, reliable, and adaptable
  • Have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
  • Can commit to regular part-time hours during the school week
  • Are keen to develop professionally within SEND education

Formal qualifications are not essential. Full training and ongoing support are provided.
