We offer full-time, part-time and flexible work to fit around your availability.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils of different ages and abilities across a range of schools. You'll usually work alongside the class teacher, supporting the whole class or working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need extra help. Some children may have additional or complex learning needs, so every day brings something different.

No previous school experience or qualifications are needed. What matters most is a positive attitude, patience, and a genuine interest in helping children succeed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm learning environment
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
  • Helping to manage challenging situations in a safe and appropriate way
  • Following school safeguarding procedures and reporting any concerns

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference
  • Is calm, patient and approachable
  • Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
  • Can adapt to different schools and classroom environments
  • Works well as part of a team and uses their initiative

What you'll get from Protocol Education:

  • Competitive weekly pay through PAYE, with no umbrella companies
  • Free access to our online CPD Academy
  • Flexible work to suit your schedule
  • A dedicated consultant who'll support you every step of the way
  • Opportunities to work in mainstream, SEND and alternative provision settings
  • £50 referral bonus when you recommend a friend

If you're ready to gain classroom experience and make a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and we'll be in touch.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
