We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hayes, supporting pupils with high and complex additional needs.

⚡ Trial days taking place during the first week of September – limited spaces available! This is not a general TA role! 

The Role

This is a specialist position within a SEND Unit/SRP, supporting pupils with needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD and non-verbal communication.

You'll provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and reach their full potential in a calm, structured and nurturing environment.

This role requires patience, resilience and a genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs.

✔️ Has experience working in a SEND school, SRP or specialist provision

OR

✔️ Has personal or professional experience supporting children or young people with complex SEND

✔️ Is confident supporting non-verbal pupils and managing challenging behaviour

✔️ Understands that behaviour is communication and responds with patience and consistency

✔️ Is calm, proactive and passionate about making a real difference

❗ Please note: This is not a general Teaching Assistant role. Experience supporting children with complex SEND is essential.
