What you'll be doing

  • Helping children stay engaged and confident throughout the school day.
  • Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and other support staff to deliver tailored learning.
  • Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social development.
  • Creating a positive, safe and encouraging learning environment where every child feels valued.

We're looking for someone who

  • Has experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in schools or similar settings.
  • Is calm, patient and able to build positive relationships.
  • Can adapt their approach to meet individual needs.
  • Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Wants to make a genuine difference every single day.

Experience supporting pupils with any of the following would be a bonus

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • SEMH
  • Complex Learning Needs
