Psychology Graduate – SEN Support Role

Gateshead
£83–£100 per day
Full-time | Immediate or September start

Just finished your Psychology degree and wondering what’s next?

If you’ve always been curious about behaviour, development, and how young minds work, this could be your perfect first step. We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Durham looking for a Psychology graduate to support pupils with additional needs.

You won’t be thrown in at the deep end. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to support children with autism, ADHD, and social, emotional needs.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping children regulate emotions and access learning
• Building positive, consistent routines
• Gaining hands-on experience that’s ideal for future Educational Psychologists, Therapists or Teachers

What we’re looking for:
• A Psychology degree
• Calm, patient communication
• Genuine interest in SEN and child development
• Resilience and a steady approach

Why start with us?
• Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella faff
• FREE access to our CPD Academy
• Dedicated consultant support
• Roles in mainstream and specialist settings
• Easy registration and local placements
• Referral scheme rewards

If you’re looking for experience that actually means something, this is it. Real impact. Real development. Real classroom insight.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
