A supportive primary school in Gateshead is seeking a resilient Part-Time Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to help pupils who need additional support with behaviour and engagement.

This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to pupils’ daily experiences in school.

The role is part-time, term time only, working 8.30am to 3.30pm.


The Role

You will work closely with pupils who may need extra support to stay focused and engaged in the classroom.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Working 1:1 or with small groups
• Helping pupils stay engaged in lessons
• Encouraging positive routines and behaviour
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff

Your role will be key in helping pupils feel supported and understood.
