Level 5 Early Years Leader
Ready to lead a nursery where children and staff can thrive?
We're working with a welcoming nursery in Gateshead that's looking for an experienced Level 5 Early Years Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about Early Years, enjoys supporting others to be their best and wants to play a key role in creating an inspiring environment for children to learn and grow.
You'll lead by example, helping to shape high-quality practice while creating a positive, supportive culture where children, families and colleagues feel valued every day.
What will your day look like?
Every day brings something different, and that's what makes this role so rewarding.
Your day could include:
• Leading and supporting a team of Early Years Practitioners, helping them grow in confidence and deliver outstanding care.
• Creating engaging learning opportunities that inspire children's curiosity, creativity and independence.
• Supporting children's learning and development through observations, planning and meaningful play experiences.
• Building strong relationships with families, offering guidance and celebrating every milestone together.
• Ensuring the nursery provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Working closely with senior leaders to maintain high standards across the setting and support continuous improvement.
• Mentoring colleagues, sharing best practice and helping to create a positive, collaborative team culture.
Most importantly, you'll help create a nursery where children feel safe, happy and excited to learn, while leading a team that's proud of the difference they make every day.
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Holds a Level 5 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
✔ Has experience leading or supervising within an Early Years setting.
✔ Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
✔ Is passionate about developing others and creating a positive team environment.
