Your Role

You'll work closely with class teachers to support learning across the primary age range, helping pupils to grow in confidence and achieve their learning goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting whole-class learning, small groups and individual pupils
  • Delivering planned interventions in literacy and numeracy
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Supporting children with varying learning needs
  • Preparing classroom resources and learning activities
  • Promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a primary school
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Passion for supporting children's learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
