I am currently on the lookout for a Authorised Person for a role in Frankfurt, Germany. I am acting on behalf of a well-established Electrical Subcontractor who operate within Germany on major Pharmaceutical & Data Centre projects.This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout Germany with exponential growth in their Mission Critical Divisions.Key Responsibilities of this Authorised Person Role:   Implementation and enforcement of applicable Electrical Safety Rules and project-specific electrical safety processes.Ensuring compliance with Mercury SOPs, in particular: o Control of Hazardous Energies Procedure o Operating/Energization Procedures for work on LV & MV systems o Project-related ESSOW (Electrical Safe System of Work).Identification of electrical hazards and initiation of appropriate protective measures before work is approved and during its execution.Application of and participation in the monitoring of the Electrical Safety Permit System (including access control to electrical operating areas).Implementation and documentation of LOTO measures as part of the lockout and safety processes in accordance with company specifications.Ensuring that the necessary insulation, labelling, and safeguards are fully and correctly implemented before work beginsCreation, review, and execution of circuit diagrams/switching instructions in your own authorization area (HV or LV) in coordination with SAP/project management.Performing or supervising switching operations on electrical systems within the scope of the authorization granted.Ensure that only authorized and trained persons have access to the respective switching and work areas.Close cooperation with commissioning, construction, QA/QC, subcontractors, and HSE to ensure the safe execution of electrical work.Coordinate planned shutdowns, switchovers, and energizations with relevant stakeholders.Supporting the implementation of project-related release and commissioning processes.Complete and audit-proof documentation of: o Authorizations/designations o Permit-to-work documents o LOTO certificates o Switching logs o Audit and deviation tracking.Participation in internal audits and safety inspections; active involvement in corrective and improvement measures.Reporting and escalation of hazardous incidents, deviations, and restrictions. Essential Criteria for this Authorised Person Role:   Completed electrical engineering training / master craftsman / technician / engineer (depending on state requirements and project scope).Verifiable qualification and designation as Authorized Person (Electrical) for the respective voltage range (HV or LV).In-depth knowledge of electrical safety, lockout procedures, permit-to-work, and LOTO.
