We are working with a specialist PRU in Ferryhill to recruit a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.

Key Duties

• Provide one-to-one and small-group learning support
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Help manage behaviour using positive strategies
• Support personalised learning plans
• Work alongside teachers, SENDCOs and pastoral staff
• Monitor progress and encourage engagement

Requirements

• Degree in any subject
• Interest in SEND or alternative education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, resilient and enthusiastic
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
