Structural Design Engineer 

A rapidly expanding and innovative company who deliver complex trenchless and tunnelling projects across the UK Manager with a growing workload and strong pipeline are looking to hire a Structural Design Engineer to strengthen the team and to support their expanding operations.
As specialists in tunnelling, trenchless and underground engineering works they work closely with clients in Early Contractor Involvement to undertake feasibility studies, options reviews and FEED designs, leading onto detailed design and construction by delivery teams.

Open to all levels of Engineer from Junior to Principal Engineer (Salary to reflect)

Based from head office in Doncaster, with Hybrid working;

Responsibilities include 

-    Completing structural calculations, options reviews, and detailed designs for tunnelling and underground structures
-    Managing third-party approval processes with organizations like Network Rail, CRT, and National Highways
-    Undertaking feasibility studies and options reviews
-    Ensuring designs are compliant with industry standards.
-    Producing reports and communications for clients.

To be suitable for the Structural Design Engineer role you will have:

-    A Relevant engineering degree (BEng, MEng, MSc in Civil, Structural Engineering)
-    Knowledge of UK design codes and standards (Eurocodes, BS, CDM etc.)
-    Knowledge of UK Third party approval processes, Network Rail, CRT, National Highways etc
-    Proficiency in industry tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, PLAXIS, WALLAP, or similar
-    Passion for solving real-world engineering challenges
-    A high work ethic, company engagement & relationship building skills

Desirable

Chartered Engineer with relevant professional body. (CEng ICE or IStructE)
