Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1)

Contract: Full-time
We’re working with a supportive school in Colchester looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN starting in September.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll play a key part in helping a child access learning, build confidence, and feel supported throughout the school day.
About the role:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs
- Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Helping to create a calm, positive, and structured environment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with SEN (school or similar setting)
- A patient, calm, and understanding approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Someone reliable and committed to supporting pupils’ progress
