Pupil Support Assistant

We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school on the lookout for a caring, confident and proactive Pupil Support Assistant. 

• Providing dedicated support tailored to the individual pupil's needs 
• Supporting a pupil to stay engaged and focused throughout the school day
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO 
• Supporting behaviour and emotional wellbeing 
• Helping children build confidence, resilience and routine

What we’re looking for

• Some experience with SEN/ behaviour management, or an interest in developing your skills
• Ability to easily build rapport and a genuine care for making a difference
• A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
• A calm, patient and supporting approach to learning
•

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
