Protocol is currently recruiting Educational Support Staff to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Chesterfield. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated individuals who are committed to helping students reach their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Support Workers, or individuals looking to gain valuable experience within the education sector.

The Role

  • Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to support learning.
  • Assist pupils with additional learning needs and SEND requirements.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • A positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
