Protocol Education are currently working with a lovely one-form entry primary school in Chelmsford who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (2 days per week).
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive school environment. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons within Key Stage 1, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and supporting pupils in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with staff in a one-form entry setting
- Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom organisation
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
