Role Overview
Protocol Education is working with welcoming and supportive schools across Bristol and the surrounding South West region who are looking for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on classroom experience.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and progress of students. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one support to pupils, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide individualised support to students who may require additional assistance
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
• Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Qualifications & Skills
• A recent graduate, ideally with a degree in Education or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for education and student success
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Commitment to continuing professional development
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential
• Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
• Willingness to collaborate as part of a team and take direction from classroom teachers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
