Looking for a role where you’re more than just an extra pair of hands?

We’re working with a warm, community-first primary school in Lawrence Weston (BS11) where children are at the heart of everything. It’s a place where relationships matter, small wins are celebrated, and every child is supported to feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.

They’re now looking for a brilliant Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups, and in class
  • Helping bring lessons to life in a way that works for every learner
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children
  • Encouraging confidence, curiosity, and pride in progress
  • Sharing feedback with the wider team

What makes this school special?
It’s calm, inclusive, and genuinely supportive. Staff work together, children are known as individuals, and wellbeing sits right alongside achievement.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Are patient, positive, and naturally great with children
  • Bring energy and ideas into the classroom
  • Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team

Experience is a bonus, but attitude is everything.

Good to know:
The school is based in BS11, so driving is a big help.
