Looking for a role where every day makes a difference?
Some of the biggest wins in a classroom don't come with applause. They're the small moments. A child joining in for the first time. A smile after a tricky morning. A breakthrough that only happens because someone believed in them.
If that sounds like the kind of difference you want to make, we'd love to hear from you.
We're working with welcoming primary, secondary and specialist schools across Bristol looking for caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Whether you've worked in education, care, youth work, or have personal experience supporting someone with additional needs, your skills could be exactly what our schools are looking for.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Helping children access learning in ways that suit their individual needs
- Building confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
We'd love to hear from you if you
- Have experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
- Have experience supporting individuals with SEND, or transferable skills from care or support work
- Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Enjoy working as part of a team and making a positive impact every day
