We're on the lookout for a caring, committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school on a full-time, permanent basis.

If you've spent at least a year working in care, supporting children or adults with additional needs, or working in a SEND setting, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, supporting individual needs, and helping young people thrive both in and out of the classroom.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Helping students access learning in a way that works for them
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive outcomes
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 1 year's experience in a care setting or working with individuals with SEND
  • Is patient, compassionate, and resilient
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their potential

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience supporting Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs
  • Relevant care or education qualifications
  • Thrive training or an interest in developing your SEND knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
