SEN Support Roles
SEN & SEMH Schools | Flexible
Some children need a little extra support to thrive.
Others need someone who believes in them before they believe in themselves.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for caring, resilient, and enthusiastic SEN Support Assistants to join a range of SEN and SEMH schools. These are roles where every day matters, every breakthrough is worth celebrating, and your support can genuinely change a young person's future.
Whether you've worked in education, care, youth work, coaching, or support services, if you're passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Building positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn
- Supporting learning both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions
- Encouraging emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral teams
What we're looking for
- A calm, patient, and positive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working with children and young people who may display challenging behaviours
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Previous experience in education, care, youth work, coaching, mental health support, or similar environments is desirable but not essential
Why work in SEN and SEMH education?
Because no two days are the same.
Because progress comes in many forms.
Because helping a young person feel safe, engaged, and successful is one of the most rewarding jobs you can do.
