

Reception/Year 1 Teacher
We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Bristol looking for a Reception / Year 1 Teacher to join their team full-time. This is a brilliant opportunity to teach in a setting where early learning, emotional development, and strong relationships sit right at the centre of school life.

Your role
- Full class teacher responsibility in Reception or Year 1
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Supporting early phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
- Creating a calm, structured, and inspiring classroom environment
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Working closely with support staff to meet a range of needs, including SEN
What we’re looking for
- UK QTS (or equivalent)
- Experience in EYFS or KS1
- A warm, nurturing teaching style with high expectations
- Strong classroom management and a good understanding of early development
- Someone who brings energy, creativity, and a team-first mindset
